Chapter 28: Close

I reread that email anticipating bad news.

This month has rocked me in ways i didn’t miss because life is cyclical.
I haven’t cried today but as of 2pm all the paperwork i needed to provide is in.

Note: there are sprinkles of additional information but the hard work is for the most part over at least on my part. I am praying USDA gives that final approval and if that happens, one of my dreams comes true.

I stare at these photos trying to imagine myself walking through my house. touching the top of the kitchen tile and realizing that..I did it.

I see it so clearly and will be holding my breath for the next 45 days.

I’m just so close and can only brace myself.

I’m almost there.
